SCA was tasked by Ledikana with designing a mock packaging and labelling designs for an organic shea butter product imported from Uganda. The challenge was to bridge retro packaging with a very visible product description. We opted for a tin packaging to bring in a retro feel using a metallic finish with thin to thick warped lines as a design element to further communicate the journey the product has taken from Uganda to South Africa. We chose the yellow colour finish to bring out the freshness and brightness to the overall design.
